Modloader is a base mod for the majority of the mods out there, it can be considered as a mod manager. It stops conflict between 2 or more mods that can cause serious problems.
However modloader also has its own special features! It creates a new folder in the .minecraft folder that allows you to put some of the mods’ zip file in and auto installs it for you!
How to download and install Modloader for Minecraft 1.2.5
- Download latest version of Modloader
- Drag all files into minecraft(.jar)
- Delete META-inf
- Done
*this should work if you did exactly this with a fresh jar
