Audiomod, like Modloader, is kind of another “base-mod” but this one is more of an “upgrade”, making it easier for the other devs to code mods. Audiomod, like modloader, was also made by the same developer, Risugami. However this mod is used for another area of the “coding world”, the sound part. Inside this mod contains codes by paul (paulscode.com), the guy who created the original sound system for vanilla minecraft.
Audiomod is for the mods’ sounds to work. For example, if your mod doesn’t have the right sound or any sound at all; it may be because you did not install Audiomod, installed it incorrectly or there’s some other things wrong.
How to download and install Audiomod for Minecraft 1.3.1
- Download Audiomod
- Extract .zip or open with an archiver
- Drag all files into minecraft.jar
- Delete META-inf
- Done
